Many of you have been part of the Hearth Advisors Educational Audit , that the school undertook as a process of evaluating its past 75 years in bringing quality education to its students in Delhi. The school not only looked back but is all set to look ahead , at the next 25 years , in a planned process .The Heart Team has come up with about 10 proposals to be implemented in due coarse of time.
Much careful deliberation has taken place after submission of the report. The OLD COLUMBAN TRUST has graciously come forward to finance , the project undertaken by the School , for this year , starting 1st. July 2017 and ending 30th. June 2018.
The OCT has sanctioned Rs. 20 lakhs , that will be given to the school in a phased out manner , during the course of the year, as consultation fees for Hearth Advisors.
Out of the 10 proposals that Hearth proposed , it was decided to take on three proposals , starting 1st. July 2017 – The said proposals are :-
- Professional Development of all staff , both teaching and non-teaching.
- Language Development Program – Using English as a second Language, with possible help from British Council
- Asset Test – for classes 3 – 10 , to be held in August 2017 , Hearth will help teachers , parents and students – post evaluation and towards enhancing abilities in 2018.
- The Last Mile Program – Heart will be working with teachers of class X and XII to accompany and boost performances of students in the Board Examinations.
